- Application to Imagine Adoption: Nov.2/08
- Everlasting homestudy over and signed off: Dec.8/08
- Homestudy approved: Jan.13/09
- Dossier documents notarized and submitted: Jan.28/09
- Applied for citizenship for children: Feb.9/09
- Dossier sent to Ottawa for gov't approval: Feb.25/09
- Part 1 citizenship application approved: Mar.09/09
- Dossier arrives in Addis Ababa: Mar.14/09
- Documents for part 2 citizenship sent to Imagine: Mar.27/09
- ***We Are Here*** Approx. 24 month wait for a referral
- Next step... 4 to 6 month wait for court decision in Ethiopia
- Next step... wait for children's citizenship to be approved
- Next step... we will travel to pick up our children
- Next step... attachment, bonding and sleep deprivation begin!):
