Randomness: #5 of 7

I hate cold salsa. I'm not sure why, unless it's the fact that tomatoes, onions, garlic and spices all keep best at room temperature. If I am going to eat some nachos and salsa, an event that occurs rather more frequently than it should, I heat up the salsa for a couple seconds in the microwave.

While Googling the correct temperature of salsa*, I was dismayed to find that I am a lazy nacho faker who doesn't know an avocado from a refried bean. For goodness' sake, let's just keep this whole microwave-the-salsa thing between us, shall we?

* room temperature, as it turns out

Great. Now I have a craving for chips and salsa. Sigh. And a curiosity to see how salsa tastes differently at the 'correct' temperature...

I feel so lowbrow, now. I've been eating cold salsa and lazy nachos. I shall endeavor to better myself.

If I gain 10 pounds, it will be because of this post. Thanks, Gwen.

Not only that, I am going to have to stop buying milk and vegetables, so we can afford all the cheddar, chips, jalapenos, and salsa.

I have recently decided to join the no sugar, no flour mindset. The downside, no cake, no chocolate, no bread, no cookies, no cereal, no muffins, no licorice, no gatorade, blah, blah, blah. The up side, all the 100% corn chips, salsa, sour cream and guac I can eat!!!!
Rock on and pass the beano please!
